Anyone know the history of Suspensions Unlimited?

Was inspired by the Alumicraft thread and wanted to see if anyone knows the story of how SU came to be? I know "Larry" started it and Ed/Ramone bought the business in 2008 but besides that I know nothing. Hoping someone can chime in.
 
My pops was friends with Larry Rosevear and did all their electrical work at the shop when I was a kid. Myself and Larry’s son Kevin use hangout/screw around at the shop. I think Kevin has an account on here. I’m sure Kevin could fill us in.
 
Larry started the company and now owns and runs Laser Innovations.

He sold it to the Begin family around 2005/2006 and they created the “SU Superstore” off the 15. I went to the Grand Opening, it was awesome to see a Sand Car “store” for once.

Then, the Recession hit and they sold it to Ed and Ramon in 2008 ish.

We went to the SU super store in 2006 I think and would have bought a car that was on the showroom floor but they said you had to order one that it wasn’t for sale, if we could have bought that day we would have been figuring out how we were going to get it back to Oregon
 
I thought the Begin family owned it longer than that? Cathy Begin used to be on this site way back when and actually raced in the first EPO Buggy race. Great family.

While I was typing that, I felt like 2010 was the year but how my brain works... I knew it was before I started flying to Texas for my Ex (2009).

It appears it was 2008. I got the purchase year wrong... but it may have been the 2004/2005 timeline (still close to my guess).
