I have a TT J32 and need to replace a couple of coil packs. while I'm at it ill replace all of them. I've heard that all but the OEM ones are junk.

fact or fiction?

if fiction what would be an affordable option?

Never tried any of the aftermarket ones. Just pickup a few from the pick a part and keep a couple as spares in your toolbox.
 
I have bought them from Napa with zero issues. I carry a few spares in the trailer but have only had two go bad in over 100 days of duning.
