New to Vegas area from Arizona and do not have a transaxle builder here. Blew my 091 ring gear and need a shop. Is there a shop in Vegas that can do it or do I need to run it over to California somewhere? . I know I need a 2D but please spare me the ridicule, mean comments and the ensuing emotion pain that an 091 owner deserves. 😀 .

Justin Farmer owner of SCU has a company called Geartech they do great work. 702-767-2943

I know you addressed it in your first post buttttt, there is a used 2d for sale at Dave Folts Transmission. It's ready to go back together, just holding off in case the new buyer wants to change the gearing. Just trying to help :cool:

Ritchie just moved and was a few weeks out but he also recommended Daniel Artigas in Parump. He had my transmission apart and inspected while I waited and parts are now on the way. Thanks for the tips. I will give a shout out to Don’s Busbox in Peoria AZ. Upon inspection the transmission I got from Don was almost a full Foltz Racing transmission with all the good stuff in it. I was running a used ring and pinion because for a while there were no new ones available. The ring looked great but the pinion dropped a tooth. After Daniel in Parump does his extra magic I should have an 091 as good as anybody can build one. IMG_1885.jpeg

Alper sends Trans there all of the time, and I have had him build several for me also.

Appreciate all of the recommendations. Unfortunately I could not turn this one around in the timeline it was needed. I threw out a number of reputable builders for him to call, glad Daniel Artigas can get him taken care of.

He is in Pahrump
Thanks. I could not have been more happy with Artigas. First a shout out to my previous builder Don’s Bus Box in Peoria AZ. Upon inspection by Artigus, Don gave me a full Foltz modified case without mentioning it and the work he did was spot on. Don also picked my gearing and it is perfect. Artigus did his magic and modifications and it shifts like a rice rocket. I can shift up or down during a full drift in the bowls with confidence. Supercharged 2.0 ecotec. Pro-Am shifter, Kennedy stage three pressure plate with plain Kennedy disk works the best for me. 13.50 plus tires cut and buffed including removing all side scoops so I can light them up and drift at will. This may be TMI but nobody has as much fun in the bowls as I do with this setup. Thanks for the recommendation for Artigus. His work is great! Due to power and slippery tires it gets constantly rowed into 2nd but mostly 3rd and 4th. We do Dumont mostly and with the more technical bowls and razors this light setup rocks!
