So dumb question about a four seat pro r.

So is the Dynamix only on the ultimate package? I would rather not have to spend 45 or 50k on a car. Seems like a 25 or newer with a cage and lower mileage that's where it would be. From what everyone is saying it is sounding to me like a 23 or a 24 with a cage to fit the trailer. That keeps me away from the first year issues as mentioned of the 22 model. How big of a deal are the 35-in tires versus stock? What years had the problem with the lower front shock piece where the axle goes through? I remember hearing about that. Would really like to buy something and not have to put a whole bunch more money in it as well.
i believe so the dynamix is only on the Ultimate. Nothing better than switching to comfort and using the Oh Shit button occasionally for a super smooth ride. Then swap to baja mode for deep woops and then back to rock mode for any off camber washouts in the dirt. The car stiffens up the drooped out wheel when in rock mode so your tire contacts the ground again your shock is stiff and compresses slowly to help with any rolling.

first year issues were a smaller stud on the lower ball joint that's all, bigger ball joints from CMI or Sandcraft fixes that worry.

The lower front shock clevis is still the same throughout the years. Its a great sales for some companies to upgrade them. (I'm a dummy who did)

if you buy used at 4,000 miles you will need to buy new clutches for $2000 as the aluminum wears out and gets grooves. Those grooves kill your belt life.

Seems mostly from what I have read the Pro star Fury (Pro R), Prostar (Slingshot) engine is pretty robust. (225hp vs 200hp) 10-20k miles on some Pro Rs and 60-120k miles on some slingshots. I do know and have been told the Pro R is a gas hog and need to prepare for that. I looked at the Kawi yesterday at Ride now. That back 3 seat deal was important to me for my grand sons. Well, the pro R is actually 2" wider in the back seat area and it is easy to buy a bench for 3 young uns.

Called Shock Therapy this morning. They verified 100% the Dynamics on the ultimate model is the way to go. They can also do their package with springs and re-valving at a price very close to what I spent for my X3. He said the package helps the low speed chop and they redo the bypass for full compression and bottoming.
I have done the ST whole treatment. Its better but not that much better, springs made the biggest difference as the stock spring sag within 200 miles. I have taken my car back to ST to fine tune my shock twice now and its been no charge, just yesterday they replaced my lower shock forks with their new design for free along with adding some extra compression as i was bottoming out the front end on dune transitions.

RPM makes a 8.5 gallon extra fuel tank that goes in place of the glovebox/subwoofer under the dash. really nice product and works well.

If I were to buy a POL 4 Seat PRO R today - it would be this 2025 Sport model.

Retail Price $38,999
Our Price $28,995
Savings $10,004

Killer deal on a 2025 - yeah, no Dynamix but this is a solid unit aside from the electronic "bells and whistles".

basically, same price i paid for my turbo s velocity back in 2021, bought it from that same place, but that was also covid and you were lucky to find the car let alone get a deal on it.

It's unfortunate people still use this crook.
Exactly people who would stop listening to a band, not eat at a restaurant or even change the brand of beer they like for one thing that politically doesn't agree with them, but when it comes to that POS we get, well he knows suspension. Fuck that and Fuck that guy

Been a while since I have had any shocks done. Is there anyone else out there that can set up a set of shocks as well as they do with springs for $2200?

Another funny little thing my wife really likes on the Pro R. Passenger floor has two foot pads for those with limited reach. The Can am and Kawi do not. She also fits very well to drive the machine.

He sold out to Fox shocks
It's still Justin.

I asked him what happened to Wayno and Kerin's Flame car, at the SSSS and he teared up a bit with anger... likely pissed that people still remember his wonderful business tactics that got him where he is today.

Theft is theft. Doesn't matter who he works for now.

Just my .02 I would really consider the higher freight for the dynamic suspension it is awesome best I ever had in a sandcar or scs.

I almost forgot the 2025 and up cars have cooled and heated seats, they are 10x softer than the previous years. The cooling fan blow air on the small of your back. They work so well i swapped a set in my '22 model.

I saw your thread on that. Definitely might refer to it if I buy an older car.

I have seen several places people mentioning the suspension bolts on the 22 and 23 models don't have the shank that goes all the way through. I remember breaking a rear shock bolt on my Funco and Gil George rightfully giving me a hard time about having threads in the area under load. Looks like an easy fix though. https://ctraceworx.com/products/pol...i04X45UVNVYZGZWA6zqzSiYBGJu7OP3AaAkFLEALw_wcB
ALL sxs have improper bolt lengths. In the pro r its not that big of a deal since they use M14 bolts. Like other sxs the Pro-r issue is the hole size in the frame, its larger to account for manufacturing tolerances. And the shoulder length is incorrect all sxs across the board.

Now watch out for those replacement kits you will get into issues about shank and shaft. CT Racewerx sells a kit that the bolt is not necked down at the threads "shank" is full sized. His bolts are not the correct shoulder length!!! I emailed them and they say they dont claim to have the correct shoulder.
