One of the best dune rides ever

On sat morning we did a tour of the dunes. Started at pad 4. Went south about 5 miles. Went into the dunes hit flag pole, hill 3, olds, devils bowl and back. We took only the one 5 min stop. When we got back two of the razor guys said they started with a full tank of gas and their low fuel lights just came on! 1:05 run and emptied their whole tanks. It truly was an epic trip. Next guys trip Jan 7-10

I've heard about your rides!!! Trow says if you want to test your skills, follow John. Hopefully in a couple years, I'll get the opportunity to follow you!!! Be safe out there
 
I was on a ride with Mike Trow years ago. I was a guest on their run so I was not at the front. Midway through they all stopped and then asked who wants to lead. They finally picked me. So I took them on a fast ride. The guy in 2nd place was some motorcycle racer but driving a buggy. I kept pulling away from him and then would slow down and repeat. After the ride he said there is nothing he could do. “I’m going as fast as I can and you just start loosing me”. I could tell it bugged him. Put a smile on my face!

So I was at a party last night, and one of the guys is telling everyone about how some hang glider dudes were bombing his crew out in Glamis!

I think we are over due for a run together! Last one was the outfront regada/run probably in 2016.
