Had to run out to Brawley this am to do some filming for the Glamis bound storage project.

www.glamisboundstorage.com.

Hit Ramey’s meets for some tri tip and pollo asada!

Flew over vendors row and Oldsmobile hill (there was two lone cars on olds). Then flew over the mine and hit the Indian hieroglyphs in Blythe and back to Havasu!

Glamis was empty.. like no people out there at all.. dunes looked wrecked from all the tracks.

Roughly 40 minute flight time each way, and storage is about 6-7 minutes from the airport! 21 miles to gecko loop!

I kinda looked out there and didn’t see anything or we would have flown over to grab some pics..

Other than the two sxs’s at olds there was virtually no one in the dunes
Thats Great news ! I wanna go this week if possible and enjoy some absolute Solitude ! That is the Best Feeling out there Ever!

i have a hard time on an airliner, aint no way i'd ride in that lol!!! great pics

Anything goes wrong you are way safer in a small plane than an airliner.. lol. Plus this one has the “oh shit” handle with a parachute!

Iv remodeled the pool at that pump station twice in the last 20 years or so.
It’s like going back in time up there. Pretty cool

I wasn’t sure if that was iron mountain or the other one..

My friends Boyd and Dot went and lived out there (iron moth I believe) for awhile.. pretty rad

Week after Thanksgiving was one of my favorite trips when the kids were little: no need to bring firewood, no one in the dunes.

Cool pics! Thanks for sharing. I didn't realize those petroglyphs were there.
Assuming fenced off? Can you ride close to them?

Cool aerial pics, was able to see the area my son ate shit at Olds....the exact path he took and then stuffed it. LOL...just sent to him as a reminder, SLOW DOWN when you can't see what ahead.

I've never had Chicken asada from Ramey's. How was it??

Cooking it tomorrow, we are cooking the tri tip
Tonight! Would have cooked it yesterday but I had movie night with Sierra because that new five nights movie came out and I promised her I’d take her.

I bought the pollo because Darren the local real estate broker said his customers love it. One guy buys 80lbs at a time and then flies it home. 😳

My shameless plug on FAQ fo GBD
