Two different fires....Edison lines started the Eaton fire in AltadenaWait someone started the fire versus So. Cal. Edison being blamed for faulty powerlines?
wasn't correctly extinguished? How are they suppose to contain a fire with winds of 60+mph winds that were probably closer to 100mph at times in an area with super dry brush and homes directly in the path the winds were blowing?this guy started the Jan 1st fire, which wasn't correctly extinguished....which lead to the devastating fire.

100% understand your 2nd sentence, you cannot win against mother nature in that scenario, just step back and watch in awe. I will say, watching on the news as the fire spread through the Palisades, I am all for cutting down every palm treen in CA. Those fuckers spread fire like no other.wasn't correctly extinguished? I think they are trying to pin the first fire on this guy............100% understand your 2nd sentence, you cannot win against mother nature in that scenario, just step back and watch in awe. The comment about correctly extinguished was about a previous fire started by fireworks that had boots on the ground and was deemed "out". It was a week or so prior to the big fire. I don't know if it is confirmed, but that first fire that was "out" is what is thought to have been the source of the BIG Palisades fire that wiped everything out, ie. it wasn't actually fully extinguished and re-ignited and mother nature did the rest.
The whole point is maybe...just maybe.....knowing there was a fire up there a week ago and these winds were coming......Maybe they should have put some people up there to double check stuff???????? it's clearly where the big fire came from. It all comes back to budgets, strategies, and priorities.......none of which seem to benefit the residents of CA anymore.wasn't correctly extinguished? There is video of the re-ignition of the fire.....they F'd up big time. The fireworks story sounded suspect when they mentioned and it looks like it was not the cause. If the guy they caught did indeed start the fire. Plus the fire department in those areas are pretty good at making sure everything is extinguished.
eye for an eye, I'm down for a front row ticket to that show.A whole series of shitty events happen all the time, daily.
Seems like this time, everything aligned and the worst outcome came to fruition.
There is a reason you have a process and double check that process (Fire Dept.) also...light that arson POS on fire, slowly with hot coals at the feet then add a little kindling......slow cook him on the beach of the Palisades.
This was my understanding as well. The timeline seems to be this dude starting a fire which was extinguished per accepted fire suppression practices, the fire continued to smolder underground to be reignited a week later during high winds.
Yeah, sounds like the firefighter’s union boss tag teamed with Gavin’s press secretary to put that shiz out…This was my understanding as well.
I'm not sure I buy into all of it either...
