Speed UTV

$800k for a golf cart is crazy. But then that's probably his strategy. If no one buys it, he won't have to make it, then no one will complain about it not being built and delivered.

Would have been a lot cooler if he'd driven it in. Maybe in a couple of years...
It is basically a Class 1 buggy. It would of been cool if he drove it in, but then that would mean it is a completed project.

Robby is already getting called out for stealing the tri-power design. I can only imagine all the bugs built into that car that needs to be flushed out.
some fabricator Robby Woods was going hard after RG for stealing his idea. The V8 car will allegedly be ripping around Glamis for New Years.

The only thing golf cart /UTV was a few body panels and the decal. It’s a 4wd buggy.

In typical RG fashion it was not close to done, just tacked together and always late. But the design concept is pretty damn cool. If that was in Funco’s booth or Tatums booth as a concept roller, everyone would have a hard on and calling it insane and the best ever. But because it’s RG, because it’s last minute put together and because it says UTV on it, it’s not as cool. Oh and it’s Speed inflated with a $800K price tag. But that’s because Speed wants to say we are selling these, but they don’t really want to build and sell these. It’s a hype machine and that’s it. It was rushed and hyped only to draw attention, just like the last minute Sunday afternoon delivery of the enclosed cab which was less complete than the V8 was. It’s last minute; Hey look at me!

Like what you say here about RG/Speed.

Don't like the inclusion of FUNCO and Tatum for comparisons, they don't bring incomplete "concept" cars to the SSSS.

CFMoto would have been a better example LOL

🍻

My point was if they did bring a concept roller that was AWD, and had the tri drive rear suspension, everyone would have a hard on and be saying it the most bad ass thing and they are geniuses. If it was sitting in a small booth outside in the same tacked together configuration, but it was Robby Woods sitting in a lawn chair taking questions, it would be talked about how bad ass it is. But because it’s RG, because it’s his typical last minute rush like everything else he does, it’s mocked and criticized. Thats all I’m saying.

CFmotor brings running concept cars. So still not a good example. LOL!

Nobody is saying it is not a cool concept buggy. I am sure he will find at least one person crazy enough to pay $800K for one. He sold an unproven race Diablo to race in Dakar before the Speed UTV was beyond a prototype.

You guys keep saying concept buggy. It's not a concept if you are taking checks and promising 12-18 month delivery date. He will gladly take your $800k check right now or at the very least a $100k non-refundable deposit. Once you start taking money it's no longer a concept. He said he already has 4 orders for it. On one of the video's from SSSS you can hear him answering someone's question saying he already had 2 orders.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results, sure.

But there's a lot of past performance with this man and either no results, or results nowhere near what was promised. The criticism is valid.
