Crazy refunds from Amazon. Anybody get them?

The other day, I got a bunch of emails from Amazon saying they gave me refunds dating back as far as 2018. There must have been almost $4,500 in refunds... I thought the email was BS and then I read a news article this morning about the same thing happening to other people. I checked my accounts, and sure as shit, there are the refunds! One of them was for 2000 bucks, and I thought it was a mistake, but then I went back through my credit card history, and sure enough, they had never refunded me, and I didn't realize it.

Did anybody else get this? You may want to check your account or go back in and search your emails.

I'm horrible at Amazon returns; probably half the shit I needed to return, I never ended up doing it. When I do it, I do it in batches, so I get like 12 emails that they received my items.
The $2,000 refund I got was for a TV. I had gone through three of them because they kept showing up damaged, and I finally gave up.

Speaking of refunds...

My ten year old router wasn't cutting it anymore. With 40 connected devices, it was constantly dropping out and loosing signals!

So I did a bunch of homework and bought a super Yazoo one, that will handle up to 64 devices. Schweet!

A few days later, I'm trying to download the manual from the Asus website, and I see the price there is now fifteen bucks cheaper.

I go back to Amazon, where I bought it, and it was fifteen bucks cheaper there also! 😱

So I open a chat with them, and asked nicely if they could refund the difference?

They said...

Would a 10 percent gift card, for thirty one bucks be ok??

Talk about customer service!!! 💯

My brother returned a package from a neighbor, wrong name, not ordered.
A week later, Amazon sent him a $200.00 watch and a thank you note.
