No one plans to leave battery powered things on and kill the battery. But if you do , do you want it to ruin a shooting trip or put you in a dissadvantage in a self defense senerio? I'll take the nuclear powered glow in the dark sights any day over the fancy battery powered sights.i just left the range, and a bunch of officers was there qualifying I guess, one lady next to me stopped shooting and i hear her say i lost my dot, guy comes over and said you prob need a battery, I was kinda confused she didn't know what to do. then range master walks over and says we sell batteries in the shop you know, so she runs over there to get a new battery lol. just glad it wasn't an scenario where she really needed to rely on that lol.
