local mechanic in ocean side area for a Honda atc 110

hey guys been a while for a post...so my son is in oceanside living on Camp Pendleton marine corp base in oceanside and bought a 83 atc 110 to play around with. it looks to be in ok shape I guess from the pics he sent me.guy had it started in the driveway and my son was able to ride it so he bought it, took it home used it one time and now it will not start has no spark.some of the wires are missing or cut for the headlight that he would like to get working again also.he threw a new ignition coil at it because the one on it had a butt connector near it and another splice.i live in nj so I'm trying to help him out to find a guy who maybe knows the Honda atc or maybe trouble shoot the electric and can help him out for cash.he has a f250 so he has means of getting to you other then that I'm not sure of any other issues it may have as he only rode it 1 time.any help would be greatly appreciated.
