What is the preferred size or minimum diameter and wall thickness you would use for the tube behind the seats that the upper 5 point harness's attach to?

0.120 to 0.095 is 0.35lbs/foot difference. On a typical buggy, that's ~1.5lbs difference. The rest of the cage is 1-1/2” 120 wall (not positive but pretty sure) so I will use that. I don’t want to add unnecessary weight but I don’t want to skimp on this tube. The tube the harnesses are attached to currently is too low and I don’t think it can be removed to save weight.
Thanks for pointing out the difference in weight. Not as much as I guessed.0.120 to 0.095 is 0.35lbs/foot difference. On a typical buggy, that's ~1.5lbs difference.
Yeah. Adds up quick on a chassis. Thanks for pointing out the difference in weight. Not as much as I guessed.
