Later Doc had a great life

His parents owned the Kay L Bar Ranch here in Wickenburg. After they split his mom, Gladys, re-married and lived the rest of her life here. Val was here pretty often. RIP
 
Funny story, my friend owned a burger joint here, and Val's mom liked the milkshakes. He'd often moan about the price of milkshakes when he came to get her one. Imagine that.

And the price for it wasn't out of line. You would pay more for a bacon and cheese whopper meal than a similar order there. And it was WAY better. Had lunch there with my dad every time I came to town.
