I bought a 12 ft aluminum boat and put a 20 horsepower outboard motor on it, although the boat states that the maximum size of the motor should be 15 horsepower, is a ranger or whoever going to hassle me for that? The boat handles great with the 20 horsepower, I actually wish I had bought the 25 horsepower motor for it, but I have no experience with how these rules and regulations are enforced and when. I boat on the river between Lake Havasu and needles.
