Tesla is down over 50% since December. Let's face it self driving cars will always be a fantasy and a lot of their stock price was predicated on that succeeding. Their only new product in awhile is the Cyber Truck and it's a bust, which just makes their P/E ratio even more absurd. Basically a meme stock and the whole thing floats on a belief that Elon is some kind of genius and the belief that others will keep believing it . . .

While I don't disagree, Tesla at $223 is still more than the next 5 automakers put together or was at the time of the 3 way split. They are still highly overvalued for their income. Most of which still comes from selling carbon credits. They still have a long way to fall before Elon starts to worry.

I don't see where Biden was telling us we should buy a Jeep (which btw are still mostly made in the US).

You don't see a difference in advocating for a particular policy (EVs) vs blatantly using the White House to shill for the Elon's car company ?

You don't see it? This was an event where the media were in attendance and you don't think Jeep benefited? Yes, I'm aware of the Jeep being built here, which is why I only referred to them being owned by a foreign company, not foreign made.

I guess on the left when you advocate for a certain industry, you label it "policy". But when the right does the same it's labelled "shilling".

Trump was showing support to a company that is being targeted for no fault of their doing other than the founder of that company is helping with implementing "policy", something the left abhors.

BTW....I hope you see that I did not blast either President for what they did, I posted to illustrate the hypocrisy.

biden and newsom are on record saying they would extend EV tax credits for EVs...EXCEPT Tesla. Yeah, that's not a lawsuit.

No EPA limitations for Blue Origin or Virgin Galactic rocket companies...BUT...EPA restriction on SpaceX.

obama started this bullshit with weaponizing the government and biden took it to a whole new level. At this point, if Trump declared Marshal Law and himself king, I'd support it BECAUSE...dems don't want it. Whether it's moral, humane, honest, whatever...I do not support ANYTHING coming democrats. Trump could be eating babies, tenderized by clubbing them with baby seals and dead kittens and I'd support it, if it upset liberals. Yeah...that's how I felt on the daily under biden. So...fuck'em.
