Motor is a stroked LS1 with a blower, but I don't get on it real hard , about 800 horseI have a 2006 Tatum and it has 33 in sand Tire Unlimited sandblaster rear tires on 17 inch rims, I'm thinking about going to 35 inch tires, what are my options? And what would you recommend? Thank you in advance
It's an S4Transmission?
Damn! Way under paddled! You can run the biggest they makeMotor is a stroked LS1 with a blower, but I don't get on it real hard , about 800 horse
Looks like a fun car. What size whippleView attachment 136670 okay, so I'm planning to get 36 inch sandblasters that you've recommended and put them on a 17 inch diameter rim. the specs on the tire says they can be put on a 12-in wide or 14-in wide rim. I would like the widest profile as possible. Do you know anyone that sells a 14-in wide Douglas rim? Kartek only sells 12's. Or any other suggestions? Also, does it matter that the fronts are considerably smaller. When the sand is really dry and soft I'm hoping that the larger Tire will stay on top better
I should know what size Whipple that is, but I don't. And I am not at home where the file is, I am in Glamis. The motor dynoed at 800 horsepower and it is an LS1 stroked to a 383. I really like the car, it took me a couple years to put it together. I cut two feet out of the chassis and eliminated the back seat and I really love how it drives.Looks like a fun car. Are you running on it?
I would keep the 33s; it is the correct paddle for that car. Just because you have the HP doesn't mean everything else can handle a 36. It will also set the car up much higher, which won't result in a better driving experience. Just my 2 cents.okay, so I'm planning to get 36 inch sandblasters that you've recommended and put them on a 17 inch diameter rim. the specs on the tire says they can be put on a 12-in wide or 14-in wide rim.
