It's Saturday Feb 1st 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

We have lots of power outages in my area. Edison shuts us down with big winds so we are not the next “paradise “. Everyone has built in fridges so there is no simple way to keep your fridge powered up. I have a whole house generator but my neighbors typically don’t. Will be installing a 6 circuit manual transfer switch so that they can simply plug in their generator and lite up 6 most important circuits. Then I’m going to OC to pick up my Can AM for final prep of a week long Mexico trip. Then I’m going to my buddies house to help him with electrical in his house as he’s putting in can lights, moving some walls, closing off doorways etc and need to get ready for some drywall
Picking up one tractor I just rented and getting the mini x ready to rent out later today.
 
Was supposed to go shoot at a buddies house this morning. Last parts came in for new rifle.

Decided to reset all blinking clocks in the kitchen and a couple others around the house after all the power outages.

I'm sure I will be doing it again within the week.

Staying at home, hoping not to infect anyone else with this crap I have....I remember listening to the people hacking up shit in the stores before this hit me thinking why didn't those stupid sick fucks stay home................we learned nothing from Covid... if you are sick stay home.
 
Just relax and maybe do some work on the sand rail.

Wife and kids have had the flu most the week. They are hibernating on the couch. I'm Tinkering. New secondary and all new fluids in the golf cart.

Then on to beers, rejetting, new skid plate, oul change, filters, and new resi shock on my daughters 250.

Pulling my wife and sons quads out of storage tomorrow. Possibly the spare machine. More prep and rejetting on those.
 
KingGlamis and I are going to stop by the King of the Hammers.
Buy a shirt, maybe a hat.
 
Completely wasted weekend. Been sick since Thursday night. Had aches and a fever the whole time. I hate getting sick, it's such a waste of time
 
Watched my youngest playing his last games of Youth Ice Hockey at CA State Championship and now his 18AAA season is over.

On to the next chapter.
 
Sat: Basketball tourney for the kiddo. New Latin restaurant for dinner. Huge pit fire + music with friends.
Sun: 5-mile run, yoga, massage. Rock work on some of the new landscape re-do. Woodworking shop clean-up. Now chilling with our RE agent discussing what to do with a 17-acre lake property we bought 4 years ago. *I don’t want to work anymore*
