More comfortable than belts with pads. Previous belts I had with pads would rash my neck.

Comparing an OE application to a race or sand car isn't a sound argument. We don't have airbags or other saftey features OE applications have. The issue is spinal compression and body movement in a suspension seat.

I am going to always wear my neck restraint with my helmet now. Helmets are getting very light, but the neck restraint will help keep your head on your shoulders and hopefully prevent a broken neck.
