I was originally going to steel-it mine but since they had to come apart I might as well have them cerakoted. I looked into doing it myself but what swayed me was they had to be sandblasted. I was not about to trust any sandblaster to do my shock parts.
Most of the shock comes apart pretty easy...

What year is the car? does it have the small radiator. Stays cool most of the time but when pushed hard it gets hot? If so fans aren't going to help. It needs a bigger radiator like the one I did on mine. The one that comes with the car is just too small.
