I’m genuinely curious if you really can’t find a spot on gecko when you show up wed/thurs? it baffles me how many people say this but are you guys really trying? Or do you just go to the washes/flats, set up camp, then bitch and moan about gecko probably being full?

Richard, camping on gecko is easy. Show up Friday after work on any weekend other than thanksgiving, NY and Presidents’ Day and get it where you fit it :thumb:

I solved my own issue and picked up another rig. 14 days in the toy hauler- shuffle to storage and swap her out for the moho. Rinse and repeat. Suck it, tom. :231:

Glad people are camping off gecko in the middle of a highly traveled road? Weird. But I understand you don't glamis much anymore so maybe yore confused on where they're parking (getting stuck) and setting up camp :cheers:
packed. never seen that many people on gecko just bailing off the side of the road and setting up camp where ever the eff they got stuck. Lots of EZ up/tenters just parking in the middle of the "sand highway" that parallels either side of gecko. Most of these people look like they missed the...
