That really sucks and sorry to hear it. This community (not this particular board, but Glamis) has similarities. Lots of egos that need to be stroked. I spend half my time out there freely on behalf of others and the other half regretting it due to said shitbags.

The petition didn't pass back in the day but with the last 5 years of monitoring info it has the best chance it has ever had for delisting.

Why is any of that important? The Pierson's Milk-Vetch (PMV) is "Threatened" per the Endangered Species Act and what has been used to close the dunes south of the 78. The ~40k acres we got back and also the currently ~9k acres that remain closed are for the PMV as "critical habitat" and OHV use...
