My son got a Traxxas Stampede BL-2S for Christmas. He was kind of bored playing with it by himself, so I now have one 2. Pretty nice little truck out of the box for an RTR .

A couple of years ago, I just replaced as I could do it for basically the same $$$ as a rebuild, with the intent to have the originals rebuilt. Yeah, they're still in the garage!

I believe that the alerts have to do with your proximity to the epicenter and how strong it would be felt. Today I was 22 miles from Malibu and go the alert. Other co workers that are in Orange County, did not. Similar experience with the Bakersfield or wherever quake a couple months back.
