Update Your Old Laptop. (Parts are Cheap)

Laptops Today.
It's true. Ram and SSD prices are lower that thy have been
for years. Last week I priced 128 gig SSD sata for $9.00 to $15.00 ea.
With Windows stopping update this October for Windows 10,
it possible to install Linux (It's free) and it will run faster.
1) What you need to know before starting.
Check the model number of your device. Google "Max ram" and HD connection.
Drive should be "Sata" and ram could be "DDR2", DDR3, or DDR3L.
DDR3L indicates "Low Voltage". Make sure you know what you have.
If you machine is DDR4, it is a bit newer, but if you are running Windows 10,
read this again a few times.
(There are ways to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 even if your machine does not
qualify. (Per M$)
