So looking to update my turbo in the off season and wanted to see what brand people like? Car currently has a t4 from turbonetics but it’s an on center turbo and I don’t believe it’s efficient. Looking to see what brands people like and have had success with?

I had posted about turbo size for j35’s here as well and seemed the gt35 is the go to! I also asked Dardan and he concurred, he also recommended a precision turbo 5858. Went with the precision on the alumicraft I just finished up but unfortunately the owner isn’t looking to to push it, it only made 5-6psi on the Dyno in Tucson which in our experience means it should make 7-8 in Glamis, curious to see how it runs.

I have used comp turbos in the past they make some bad ass products size accordingly

Emailed with ATP turbo yesterday and @Jtmoney714 was pretty much on point (As Usual)

"Most likely, the current turbo has a P-Trim turbine wheel since it's coupled to the .58 A/R on center T4 housing and a .70 A/R compressor housing.

Since the rail is really light, the .63 A/R on the T4 Tangential is the way to go. You will see a night and day difference in the spool and the powerband is just going to be really nice. You can always step up to a bigger A/R housing to find tune it and shift the powerband further to the right.

It's a great choice going from the turbo combo you have now to this:"
