Onan 4000 fuel pump

I had to replace the pump in my 2006 Onan generator for the 3rd time today. Last time was probably 3 years ago. New pump at camping world is about 260 bucks so I thought let me see if there’s a different pump I could use. Looked on AutoZone website remembering I seen some in the store. Scrolling through I seen the same Onan one for thirty something bucks but would take about a week to get. Went in the store and bought a little Edelbrock pump for about 65 bucks fit right in and even came with a filter. Generator fired right up. Hopefully this one is better and last longer than the factory.
