i have your exact same issue lol. but i bought a brand new pro r, has 5.4 miles on it from the dealership (I've driven it on and off the trailer 3 times, that's it), and added a cage, cool i needed one, windshield yep need it, didn't like the liime green arms, pulled them and had them powdercoated, yep new prp seats, new bumper, lights, controller, stay flush mount, new paddles still in the boxes, new wheels, still in boxes, winch still in box, sent the ecu to whalen for tuning, ibexx clutch still on the workbench. and now im ready to sell it. adn the toyhauler, diesel, other gas truck, enclosed trailer. Not really. Still in a funk.
I got the alignment done and really only have a few things left. Bleed the brakes, fill the fluids, sand and powder coat a few more panels, and then dyno tune it.
I'm at that stage where it's almost done but every time I work on it, I feel something is wrong and the WHOLE thing needs to come apart and start over. I'm being stupid but I've put so much work into it, I want it perfect. I'm tired of putting money into it. There has to be a point where I say ENOUGH. I've even started looking at new and different cars thinking I want those now.
Anyone else go through this while building/rebuilding their cars?
To me this sport adds a ton of unwanted stress as im never happy. have never been happy with anything stock, except my daily driver.
so now im on the fence, to pull the trigger and exit the game finally. a quad was so simple, throw it in the back of the truck and go have fun, 5 gallons of gas and im done.
Now i find myself looking from trailer to trailer for something, moving a truck to do this, battery dead in the diesel from sitting, so now im effing with those today.
just not enough time in a year lol.
good luck, i feel your pain
