If you can remain in a bubble / your own environment like you describe and look at all the Taxes and Overcharging as a Weather Tax......It is a lot easier to deal with......I travel for work,....my wife and kids are in the bubble so their opinion is much different than mine.......Born and raised here. Lived in the mountains near Arrowhead my whole childhood. It was an amazing place as a kid with good weather year round and super safe. Live in Riverside now. I would love to sprout wings and move somewhere else just for a change of scenery. I am encouraging my kids (we have 4 of them) to move east to a conservative state. Our area is pretty conservative and like minded. It really is a pretty amazing state. We have it all. In my line of work (public safety) this state is by far the best. I don’t have to drive the freeways every day to get to work, I NEVER go to LA, stay out of the areas riddled with homeless, and have a great community of people around us. We go to a great church and have the kids in private school so no dealing with the BS trans junk or crazy lib teachers. We will end up settling in retirement as close as possible to where the kids settle so who knows. But in the meantime we have learned to accept our current situation and make the best of it. We have it far better than a lot of other places. Sacramento just sucks and is run by idiots but all we can do is keep voting conservative, and pray for a turn around. This last election was the most red we have ever seen on a map of our state. There is hope! BIANCO 2026!
If I had the $$$ and could be more set in one place...I would deal with it better.
I love California....I look at it as the white Lambo that Leonardo Dicapro is driving in that scene of the Wolf of Walstreet.........EXCEPT the car represents a BEAUTIFUL California and Newscum is the driver bouncing it off telephone poles and crashing into anything in sight destroying it as it goes down the road.
