How to "edit" a post after posting?

@fng great job so far!

I noticed 2 things with "edit".

1. when I posted and saw I made a mistake, the three lines upper right corner was there with an "edit" option. I clicked it and poof web site error.

2. when I refreshed the post, the three lines upper right corner didn't have "edit"

I saw that as well  and it is scary as I make a lot of mistakes...

I think he has it set now for a 60min window to edit.

Can we change this?  Im trying to update a thread I created in the Tech forum with information I got from GearOne & cant edit the post. 

Maybe not allow edits in the BS forum, but allow them in the technical section? 

or ....????
