Gen 3 w/ Front Bypass Shocks

Has anyone on here put triple bypass shocks on the front of their gen 3? I saw this car on Instagram with them and was curious. My buddy wants to get some on his and was told the gen 4 fronts will not work. Or if anyone knows this car and could get me in contact with the owner that would be appreciated.
