Camp RZR Drama

Its fun to watch, some FB Groups have already gone back to "Post Approval" to keep the nonsense down...LOL

TBH, it's mostly wives and girlfriends posting some of the really lame stuff... 👀 👄

Prayers for that Teen that got Hit and Run by a CanAm on Sand Highway. WTF Do parents let their young riders cruise those pathways on busy weekends?

Go camp by the canal, let yore kids ride there with you and then put them in a passenger seat when you go into the shitshow areas.

Is this person gonna be ok?? 😞

Agreed. Thank you for the pic!
I went to 13.5 to get a tee shirt I ordered and met (I think John) her significant other, lucky I didn’t get a beat-down.
They were in the inner circle BTW.

I have lots of pics of Steph from back in the day. Her, Mark, and what-hurts and I, thought it would be a good idea to climb Half Dome one day!

I think that was probably the longest day of my life, but we made it. 👍🏼👍🏼

I miss the good ole days of no drama when people were getting towed into Comp / Olds on couches, folks were digging trenches, filling them with gas and lighting them on fire between rows of cars at the bottom of Olds and huge Samoans would come from Brawley to party at Comp Hill and shoot signal flares at the folks running the hill!
But the question is do they get out of the pool to PEE

We need to talk. Halfdome is on my list for next year, I brought it up and my Father in Law is holding me to it.

The fun of Camp RZR! Last year we had a live band next to us. I was sitting at the camp fire and heard a tuba. Walkover and they were having a good time. Best part was there was camp right next to them and some dude put a construction generator under his bedroom slide out to drown out the band. LOL!!!

Last year it did not matter what wash you camped in you were getting music. I think Camp RZR had more people than Thanksgiving.

I'll PM you my number. I've done it twice. Along with a week long trek into the back country.

Even with all the thousands of people that crowd the place, once you get even 100 yards off the beaten path, the crowds just disappear.

@Crusty camps up at House Keeping camp every year.

Would be fun to put a big trip together. Start training every weekend now!!! 💪

I've stayed at Housekeeping with Crusty three times, now. He's the one that got me into Yosemite and away from Glamis (my choice, not his... lol). I think his last trip was when I went with him in 2017, could be wrong... he's had a lot of cancellations as Super Dad.

Let's do a group trip... although I'm partial to Winter visits (End of November to March) and staying in Hotels outside of the park, now. We drive into the back gate from El Portal within 10 minutes and avoid any of the BS now.

Hoping to get the kiddo up to Vernal Falls this December. We made it to the bridge before the Mist Trail/steps and that's where I asked my Fiancé to marry me... on that Bridge. Then, a Bobcat walked within feet of me holding the kid, I was completely helpless... 🤣 .

Trail to said bridge during a snow storm in December. Curry village when the rates were based on the low temp of the night. Those are un heated canvas tents. And Tioga lake for a thanksgiving and they opened up the road while we were there. Yes Winter is a great time to go.
