Anyone out there traveling with a toy hauler and a street car?

So I'm thinking outside the box a little bit. Thinking about retiring in 6 months. Tired of all the b*******. So right now I have a diesel pusher and an open trailer that I haul the sand rail on. I want to replace my truck with a late model Chevy truck. I was going to buy a 6.2 gas engine. Want to be able to haul some heavier loads than the Honda Ridgeline that I have. But we also want to do some traveling in the motorhome and got to thinking when we get to our location it's hard to move around without having a car. Don't really want to haul a car on a trailer behind the motorhome or at least the coach that I have. It just has the Little cat 3126 in it. So I was thinking if I upgraded my truck and got into a Duramax and then bought a toy hauler. And then I don't know if we could get my wife's Audi TT inside a toy hauler. That car is only 3,000 lb but I'm not sure about the ground clearance. I would assume with the right ramps. Then we could travel anywhere and unload the car and poke around. Anyone else doing this?

Car sits pretty low so not sure what kind of ramp set up I would need to get it up into a toy hauler. I guess the other option would be pull the car behind on a dolly but then I'm guessing that damn slobber tube from the engine and all the crap would just wreak havoc on the car

I used to haul my racecar in my toy hauler, which is much lower than the Audi, and my toy hauler didn’t have wheel wells inside (high deck).

Went like this:

Back truck’s rear axle onto ramps I built.
Drop trailer ramp onto more ramps I built.
Winch car in.

ATC toy haulers have the most payload. You might need to block the ramp door up a bit, and use race ramps to reduce the loading angle.

Would be cool if you could find a toy hauler with a dove tail given your car is so low...I'd bet on sites on racing junk, trailers for dragster type people, they have that as an option - Gooseneck style trailer.

I’m retired and tow a Jeep behind the MoHo. Jeeps are easy to tow and if I want to do some mild off roading on my way to get groceries or whatever, it makes the trip more fun.
During the winter I’m pretty much in Glamis with the sand rail in an enclosed. So since I’m single a lot I have to be creative on how I get from storage to the campsite.

This would most likely be the extreme case
over 20foot long aluminum rams 4 piece with center support,

but the rams are close to $5000,

Depending how low the car is, you might also need ramp extenders, $250

The Most extreme case would be raised ramp extenders that are 4 piece, lifts the ends of the ramps up 11'' $1200

Then maybe the 14' car ramps $2100

looks to be pretty easy to get a car into a Semi trailer, so a toyhuler would be easier,

Just Expensive
