I wanted to share my build process with Fractal Trailers. I reached out to Anthony and Josh to have a 24 ft x 8.10 ft enclosed trailer built. From the start, both Anthony and Josh were extremely helpful. They gave me a tour of the shop and had answers for every question I asked.

Here are the specifications for the build:
  • 24 ft x 8’10” wide x 7 ft high
  • .080 Polycore exterior (white)
  • Blackout package
  • 32” high diamond plate on the front
  • Welded diamond plate on the top of the A frame.
  • Winch plate welded to the frame
  • Sealed Darko underbelly mesh
  • Coin flooring throughout
  • 30” deep front workbench
  • 7K Dexter axles (both with brakes)
  • 48” RV door
  • Side windows
  • Electric front jack with battery
  • Rear wing with LED loading lights
  • HD cable-less rear door
  • (2) LED flush-mount flood lights (exterior)
  • (8) KC Cyclone V2 interior lights
  • 3/4” cabinet-grade flooring under the coin flooring
  • 1/4” birch interior side walls
  • (6) D-rings
The main purpose of this trailer is to haul toys, but I also needed something to help with my move to Idaho in June.

Be sure to tell Anthony you want the heavy duty ramp door. I have had my ramp door replaced already as there was no beam where a rails tires line up and the wood breaks down from loading. Great trailers otherwise.

I advised them thanks.

Should be a great trailer. Inspect the welds the best you can. If you’re not sure what you’re looking at find a certified welder to look at them. I was bit surprised at some of the welds they had on trailers on display at last year’s SSSS. Not at all suggesting there is anything bad about their trailers. Just best to make sure, especially in critical areas. I deal with welds and welders all day so yes, I do know what I’m looking at.

When I did the shop tour, I checked out some trailers that were in the build process. The welds look fine. I’ve been around the block too and appreciate your input.
