Single fan to dual fan help

Cutout. I tried a scoop first but to no avail. I will not be able to use the wing with the way I have to raise the intercooler so it will be a non issue at first. If temps are good I’ll lower the intercooler to where I can just get the wing on leaving hopefully at least a 1/2-1” space between it...

Aluminum or steel tie rods, or just cut what I got?

I need to shorten my tierods by 1.5” on each one. Switched the type of spindle I’m using. Not sure if just cutting off 3/4” on each side will hurt the integrity. If so should I replace with aluminum or steel?    thoughts and opinions…

It's Saturday 8/27/22 What are you doing this weekend?

Not till it started down pouring which was no big deal but the wife had an inkling of something wrong and I kept telling her “it’s no big deal” for the last 100 miles!

    Post pictures of your Dash

I’m looking to modify this summer also. Thin it out in the driver seat and maybe extend the middle down a little to hold the radio better.

Front Wheels (to use with 8.50/8.80 (depending on brand) 15" and Rears 10" or 12" wide

I have been using 5.5" width 15' wheels (with an Apex 8.80-15). I will be upgrading my wheels and tires and wondering if I should go to a 7" wide wheel or stay with the 5.5"? Same with the rear. I think I run a 10" wide now, will have to measure. I use 33" Blasters.  Pro's/Con's?

Spindles--Why is this, and which is good...?

Got the new (style) spindles on. The only thing was, I had to remove the tie rod jam nuts to get my toe set correctly.  Gonna weld on an extension to the other (spare-gray) spindles to match the height of the originals so I will have still have spares.  Gonna try out the new spindles this weekend.

Spindles--Why is this, and which is good...?

Ok  so my inner upper and lower measurement is 8” so, using the “Tatum” spindles that measure 7.5” would mess up the camber through the range…?  So I should go with these (pictures) as I can’t find any thing similar to what I have? And if so are the $600/pair kartek ones any stronger than the...

Spindles--Why is this, and which is good...?

Not sure I understand.  See pics. Seem exactly the same except for the “Tatum” one length is 1 1/4 in shorter than original.  With original my wheel is pretty much straight up and down so I guess if I was to use the “Tatum” ones I would need to lengthen (unscrew) the top heim till I get that...

Spindles--Why is this, and which is good...?

I bent my spindle which is the one that has the long blot that goes down trough the spindle itself(see pic). They measure 8.5" from the middle of the top heim to the middle of the lower heim.  I have a pair of what seems to be Tatum spindles of the same sort although they only measure about 6...

Need help with getting the correct dual rate spring set up in rear

Ok. So I have a spring rate of 160.5 now. I am at the upper limit it seems on compression (the fox valving chart). I’m at 35% droop at 1.5” of preload. I want to bring that up to 20% droop and I don’t think that  1/2” more of preload will get me there (I’ll see).  so can’t I just go up on the...
