I put mine in 1st, then Neutral, let the clutch out, push clutch in and then go into Reverse. No grinding. Only really happens if we just get done from a run. Start up in the garage and it drops right into reverse.

Always have the red top Optima. They last 4-5 years. For sure don't run those little PCXXX batteries. All my buddies that run those might get 1-2 years.

S4 or Albins

Big Blocks were tried about 15 years ago. Seems like most had issues, hard on CV's, hard on transaxles etc. The LS platform is the way to go.

Reason I ask is if you had a Fortin, the side cover allows sand to get into the bellhousing, and alot of it. Something is off with your adjustment. I have a twin disc 9" with my S4 and don't have much dust after a whole season.

Put it on a Dyno and figure it out. I had a miss and CBM ran into the Dyno. Turned out to be something wrong with computer. Swapped and ran great after that.

Shop in Tucson makes cables for Alex Arvizu I think. He had them make me shifter cables and a new throttle cable. All work great after 2 years.

Do you have a paper fuel filter post pump? If so, I would replace. Buddies car did the same thing this past weekend. Replaced filter and all good now.

Kevin McMullen told a buddy of mine about $5-6k worth of parts to convert over to a sequential. But Sean might have a different number?

Think I know 1 of the past owners of that car. Had different colors, but had that blower. Used to run together. Very nice car!!!!!!

Crate LS3 from Summit or Jegs.

Broken/shorted wire somewhere on 1 of the axles. I have fixed like 6 of these. As stated, cut the wires and run new insulated wire on the outside of the axle. Use hose clamps/rubber to hold the new wiring to the axle. Make sure no wires/connectors are close to any suspension components.
