LS1 with a blower. I never come out of 3rd. Hit the top faster and less angle. If u r stalling it u r going way to slow.

Sean, I have tried preloading my S4, similar to how I did my Fortin, and I can feel "something" in the shifter. Or is your definition of preloading different? IMO, preloading is where u are actually pulling back on the shifter and removing the "neutral" position of the shifter, if that makes sense?

When I had my Fortin wide gear, straight cut gears so no shifting required, even though it was a H pattern, I never clutched when shifting up or down. With my S4, I don't clutch shifting up, but I do clutch shifting down. I find in high RPMs, even shifting up, I better be right on my timing or...

Where do you plan on driving? If around town then the BFG will be good. You can't ride along the beach anymore If off road, the Desert Masters might do a tad better then the BFG, but you could air down the BFG and go anywhere off road.

CBR all day long. Went through 2 Ron Davis, leaked. Had CBR copy the Ron Davis so it would work/fit in my car. Works great. Buddy of mine had both companies quote an inner cooler for his blower set up. Ron Davis was $300 higher.

They had a few hub parts around last year that I picked up. But I don’t think they support the hubs anymore.

ADS stopped making these years ago. They just do shocks now. They were bought by Holley last year.

Hmmmm. Never had that problem. But I have what ranman described. 17 years and I have never had sand behind the boot. ADS Outboard hubs is what I run.

I am betting stock LS1 with a 2D and stub axles. I would say around $35k is fair.

Get rid of all SXS. No matter what u do it won’t matter. Lots of suspension in our group. Still sucks. Right before Xmas. My group said we wouldn’t come back until there is lots of wind. And we go over 2 weeks!!!! That shows how over it we were.

100% agree with this. My engine radiator has always set like the radiator in the drawing under "current". At that angle and blocked by my back seat/fuel tank. Old style fans, straight blade, I always ran 210-225F. Went to new fans, curved blade, now I run at 180F, all the time. Nothing else...
