Stock vw wheels are an option as well. As long as the clear the brake calipers. I have a set of stock vw wheels and a set of some skinny traction tires that look like what a 1600 car would run.

It's not super difficult, I do alot of shocks, rebuild and re valve. If you are halfway mechanically inclined somebody could show you the first time, and then you could do it the next time on your own

I always run swepco 101. No mix. Always works great. Tried the 164 for 1 season with bad results. Back to straight 101.
