Yeah. With audio you're trying to avoid ANY voltage drop whenever possible since that screws with sound quality. With an electric motor, voltage drop is the name of the game, it just gets hotter for a split second. Either way, I wouldn't put an 80A fuse on 6AWG connections and terminals...

Chassis ampacity is slightly more forgiving because they know you're only running it a dozen feet or so: Although, it's enough if the run is 4' or less based on resistance calcs. Marginal, but enough. Things will be warm.

The flat-as-Kansas torque curve on the J35 will be a welcome change. You can get eBay headers for it to save some weight over the cast iron manifolds. It will need lots of muffler. J-motors are LOUD.

Pivot and transfer case output should be in the same-ish spot to reduce plunge. Not super different than a trophy truck that sees (very little) plunge under load. There’s 2 of them to share load, plus another reduction box on the arm, so they’d see less than half of what a normal driveshaft...
