Why do some members on here call it “mother Glamis” as opposed to just Glamis?

Where did this term come from?

I don’t call it mother Parker or daddy havasu. I just keep hearing it and was kinda wondering where it came from.

I am in no way trying to make fun of it I just was wondering if it was like an old school term that newbies wouldn’t know.. main stream or something unique to this website etc..

Why ya gotta drag me into this? lol

I got full solar all battleborn batteries.. couldn’t tell ya how they work though because we turn the genset on when we unplug and it turns off when it gets plugged back in.

I was always told "Mother" was 1/2 of a word.
That being said, I also know the other 1/2.
I started dunes in 1961, and I can call them whatever the fuck I want.
