Camp RZR Drama

I've stayed at Housekeeping with Crusty three times, now. He's the one that got me into Yosemite and away from Glamis (my choice, not his... lol). I think his last trip was when I went with him in 2017, could be wrong... he's had a lot of cancellations as Super Dad.

Let's do a group trip... although I'm partial to Winter visits (End of November to March) and staying in Hotels outside of the park, now. We drive into the back gate from El Portal within 10 minutes and avoid any of the BS now.

Hoping to get the kiddo up to Vernal Falls this December. We made it to the bridge before the Mist Trail/steps and that's where I asked my Fiancé to marry me... on that Bridge. Then, a Bobcat walked within feet of me holding the kid, I was completely helpless... 🤣 .
2019 and then 2023 and 2024.

We didn't make it this spring, Kiki wasn't ready yet and while these are family trips, they are her trips we all get to go along with...

Our favorite time now is May and no later then the 1st week of June, even late April is all perfect weather.....not too hot and not too cold.

I just drove through the 78, 2 hours ago. So much traffic on Sand Highway that it's washboarded.
Gecko and Cement Flats looked average holiday but around vendors and wash road was a Nightmare. People are camped between vendors and the 78.
Tons of people still rolling in.

camp gayzor social media says lots of stupid out there.

crashes of all kinds due to lack of talent

Lost starlinks off roofs of sxs
lost keys
lost speakers off sxs
lost spare tires
lost coolers

Locked out of trailers and trucks needing a locksmith

people looking to buy gas and diesel just to get out of the dunes and head home

They had to put the "No Camping" sign in front of the trash cans on Gecko because one year, on Camp Rzr weekend, some low iq folks decided that would be the perfect place to camp for the weekend.

Don’t forget the where to get water and pump out service too. This week it’s going to be where do I take my ride too to get fixed.

Did not see any lost dog post, so there is that improvement. LOL!

Hopefully all those people have used up all their vacation time and won't be in Glamis for Thanksgiving.
There's nothing that boils my blood, more.

My Alcoholic Ex lost our Dog, Claire out there in 2014. Could have left her with me but had to take the whole package out to show off to her new Boyfriend/extremely gullible current Husband.
