Is anyone here in the auto security business? Or knows someone who is? For the lack of a better or more current term, I'm looking for an "alarm" for a 21 dodge. Fwiw I'm in san diego.

Thanks
Bob

Call Brian. If he can't do it, I'm sure he knows someone.

Brady?? if so, since 4Aug, I have called him 3 times & send him 2 texts & not heard a peep from him. He's been kinda hard to get a hold of, but normally gets back to me in a couple of days. Im begging to worry.......

Hmmm... that's not good. Let me dig into that and see what's going on...

the dodge thieves are really good, they can jam wifi cameras and get in your car and steal it in less than a minute...we see a lot of dodge hellcats and TRX trucks going bye bye...

This was kind of interesting. mostly what I expected.

Id be willing to travel to find the right person......

thanks again folks.

No but I'll make you a deal on a Killer DAT tape system....State of the Art, Game Changer....or if you want...... a MINI DISC system....you can be the coolest kid on the block....

That's like going to Alumicraft for a battery tray. 🤣

Edited: It looks like the Holdaway bros sold the company so I have doubts on the level of quality still coming out of that shop.
Their reviews still look pretty solid.

Those are definitely the hot tickets right now. These are the two main ways thieves are stealing Dodge vehicles.
  • Relay attack: This method uses two devices to "relay" the signal. One thief holds a signal amplifier near the vehicle while an accomplice with a receiver stands near the victim's house, close to where the key fob is located. The amplifier captures the key fob's signal, which is sent to the receiver. This convinces the car that the fob is nearby, allowing the thieves to open the door and start the engine.
  • Diagnostic port attack: Thieves can break a window to access the car's on-board diagnostic (OBD) port, typically located under the steering wheel. Using a widely available tool, they can plug into the port and program a blank key fob with the car's ignition code, effectively creating a new master key.
