Figured some of you guys would be interested in the boating side of things as well!

Loaded up late last night to get ready to tow to lake of the ozarks..

And sure as shit somehow picked up a screw in one of the tires on my street.. lol

Kids wiped the boat down and put the bow cover on for me.. changed the tire this morning and will pick up a spare on the road at some point tomorrow

Left the house at 11:00 am stopped in William’s for lunch.. just now crossed into New Mexico

On our third fuel stop already at Gallup.. we try to top off and cruise through Albuquerque.. pro tip don’t fucking stop in Albuquerque for any reason. It is a third world shithole, I mean completely fucking lawless. Absolute insanity IMG_1810.jpegIMG_1815.jpeg

i stopped in albequerque in november to get fuel on my way back from mesa.
at the gas station I go in to get a drink and theres an armed guard and the doors locked. he asked what I wanted and I said a drink
and a receipt! he opens the door and I said are you closed, he says no just keeping the unwanted out lol. on the way out i said I guess I stopped
in the wrong town and he said you sure did, don't stop on the way out lol. kinda reminded me of an zombie apocolypse

Didn't know Albuquerque was that bad these days....good to know.

I guess there is a reason Breaking Bad was filmed there LOL

I went through that Circus (ABQ) when moving my Ex from Texas to San Diego. It was very bad, 14 years ago. 🤣

I've been wanting to check out LOTO for decades, seems like a great place. Post more pics, please.

I grew up not far from LOTO and we used to go down there in the summer, this was 40 years ago, long before it because the Havasu of the mid-west. Definitely wouldn't mind getting back there at some point... to visit, not to ever live there again.

My Mom's side of the family used to vacation there in the 60's. I mentioned to her that I was thinking about buying some land there next to the lake, "just because" and she gave me a "You're insane" look. Then she said, "I forgot to mention that we STOPPED going and moved onto another, safer location. Stick to your 'High Sierra' plans, the only thing in the Ozarks is Rich Lake people you want nothing to do with or Dirt Poor Rednecks that will bury you in the woods".

"Ah." 🤣

Leaving Santa Rosa saw this little gem.. chick is asking 32k I guess it’s super rare with the sport top? It had three sticks in it.. one for gears one for 4wd and the third I’m guessing is high low?

If you have never been to buccees you are missing out!! Place is fucking awesome and you can literally get anything you need at one..

I consider it a right of passage and I got a kid with me that had never been to one..

This passage cost me about 270.00 loading up on swag for kids and wife etc.. lol

We are currently driving through a pretty decent storm in shamrock TX..

Looks like we are gonna be washing the boat when we get there.. :(.

Could be worse.. a friend of a friend truck got hit by lightning earlier in the same storm.. truck is totaled. Steering wheel got crazy hot and started an electrical fire under the hood.

I have tie video as well.

We are zeroing on target boys.. we are past the hurdles and into the single digits..

Fun fact. Last year we were driving home from LOTO and I decided we were gonna take a break instead of iron manning it..

We stayed in Yukon OK. When I woke up I drove straight to havasu no stops unless for fuel. It’s about 1,000 miles. lol

We are on our fifth or sixth fuel stop for the day and getting closer!! Almost to Tulsa IMG_1865.pngfor

At this point we are around four hrs from the goal.. I got two other drivers, one hasn’t driven yet the other we’ve barely raced and he’s a long haul driver by trade..

I am gonna relinquish control and let the boys get us home..

I've driven from PHX to South Houston non-stop twice. That's 18-19hours. 1200 miles~ Shit kicks your ass.

I'll say 11mpg.

Beers, we would need to know the number of peeps involved and their "experience". We would also need to know if you for real beer. Corona ain't it...
