The weekend is upon us what is everyone doing? Whatever it is I hope each and every one of You Have a Great weekend

Redoing the front cap on my Gearbox and securing the rear ramp frame to the min frame. Its amazing how these coaches are put together.....Coming along ok but just a bunch of work......Tomorrow gonna park along the sea wall and use it at the beach all day !

Got donuts for the girls then headed to the range. Event going on so that was a bust.
Mowed, whipped, blew and watering the lawn.
Country Style Pork Ribs on the smoker. Beef Jerkey marinating.
Driving down to San Diego Wednesday. Oldest will be staying rest of the summer there. Maybe longer.

Working well sort of at a wild fire day 5. Fire is contained and being mopped up pit dozer on the transport and sitting on standby they won’t release us yet.

my mom fell and broke her femur about 3 weeks ago, she went to rehab and got released yesterday.
All i can say is thank god for my sister, I don't have the patience for this stuff. She did well attitude wise for 2 weeks,
seemed nice and personable with everyone. yesterday was check out day and she gave my dad a rash of crap until I had enough
and made her apologize to him or I was leaving and not coming back. she did and my sister said last night (her first night back home since the fall) and she was really giving my dad a rash again. I told my sister if I have to come over there, things wont end well. He is really trying to help her, she gets mad because he won't wear his hearing aids and it sets her off to say something again. I sure hope my sister hangs in there lol, i'm not sure who will kill who first lol.
they are both 83. my dad is still very active, walks 3-4 miles daily at 6am, reads all day on his kindle, wood works and stays busy. I'm sure this will put a damper on that, but I hope not, for his sake.

then today, i have a property that has a crazy leak that we can't find. roofers say its not the roof, almost seems like its coming from underground.
we had a huge flood earlier, and I sucked up probably 170 gallons of water via a shop vac, it was like a dam broke. still can't figure it out, thank god it stopped raining. back tomorrow for round 2 of the rain in the afternoon. I'm ramping up my fight with blue dye, im spraying the entire area to see if it shows up inside.
odd thing is its clear water, no mud, nothing, just clear water.

Sick as shit since Thursday night. Not sure what this is, but it’s kicking my ass. Nasty cough, fever then chills, headache and a sore throat. Kicking my ass. Can’t remember ever being this sick.

Set up at the beach - little chill - family time !!! Fixed a few things on hauler. Gonna play with the rc car a bit and relax for a few hrs !!

Took the boat out this morning and went to a new place on the lake for breakfast. Came home, put the boat away, hung out in the pool for a bit and now doing nothing.

Was givin a Westinghouse igen4500 generator that wasn’t running. Found the exhaust valve stuck. No problem, I will just pull the head and fix the issue. Well, had to pretty much disassemble the whole damn thing to remove the head! Anyways, cleaned the valves and seats and reassembled along with an oil change. Gen fired right up and ran for about 15 min and then died. Pulled the spark plug and checked for spark. Pulled the fuel line and checked for fuel in the carb. Checked the oil and it was a tad over full so drained it down. Nothing, this bitch wasn’t gonna start! Checked the valves and the intake rocker stud came loose. So I reset it and set the valves by feel. Tried and tried but it wouldn’t start. This time I reset the valves with the feeler gauge and rotated the motor a ton of times and rechecked the setting. Last chance effort, SHE RUNS! Ran for about an hour with a load and it’s all good. Just scored a $1k gen for free with about 8hrs of labor!

Coffee in the jacuzzi with the Mrs. followed by breakfast and now she's making me head out to the garage to work on my car.

Why do I put up with this nagging....
Cuz she is a Hottie !!!!!! and you being a real Dumbazz / Jackazz - You are super Smart !!!!

I'm not on here on the weekends because I have made the decision to keep my energy on my Daughter during that window. With that said, her and I did a Home Depot trip (she got a new Adirondack chair, two kiddie pools, some Yard Art and a present for Grandma), one of her Bi/Tri weekly trips to the beach (this girl got me there after almost 20 years of not seeing the water) and we went and picked up my Lower Control Arms for the Tundra I ordered (it's been almost 20 years since I bought it, lower BJ went out on one side). Washed the Tundra but didn't get to apply my new Griots Ceramic Tire dressing I just bought so that'll be today. Also went through my boxes of Dixxons to find one to trade for the Danny G flannel a co-worker has.
