We've just bombed 3 Nuclear sites in Iran.

Symbolic, and I'm pretty sure there was a, Hey, I'm gonna shoot at that empty base with all the patriot missiles around it......ok?

Iran saves face....and now they can sit down and get rid of their chit....but they won't, they can't....they are Zealots, they can't be reasoned with. Kind of like liberals in the US....

A lot of what we knew that Saddam had....we didn't find.

We found airplanes that he'd bought from the Russians.

He had 500 tons of low-grade nuclear yellow-cake (according to Snope, not good of weapons).

In the history of the Iraq / Iran war (more of a throwback to WW1 trench warfare) than an actual conflict for conquering a country.
We (the US) used Saddam as our proxy to fight Iran, chemical weapons were used indiscriminately in the conflict then later on against the Kurds.
It’s a pretty interesting time in global politics.
