Speed UTV

I drive by the Speed location in Anaheim off the 91 Freeway all the time and the parking lot is wedged with New Speed Cars all with car covers.
And I mean there is so many it looks like they have run out of room for more units.
My buddy finally got the call his car is going into production, and I think they told him an End of July delivery....I think his car # is in the low to mid 2,000's

i do the same drive and look over there every night when i go home probably 100 new cars outside under car covers

Numbers are skewed as cars that are not being taken are being re-wrapped with higher master numbers for customers who have paid for their cars. Last 4 digits of the vin should match the master # on the number plate, if it doesn’t, the car was a re-wrap.

So how many cars do you think they have built and ready for pick up or been delivered? I would think the total cars built/delivered or ready for pick up would be in the 1500 range.

If they still have not hit 1000 cars built by now good luck to those higher number deposit holders getting a car mid next year.

While hilarious, it sucks that Steve turned into such a DB. From 2005 to 2009-ish he was a really nice, helpful guy that kept his Ego in check pretty well. Around the time he got together with Janet and ran over her foot coming into the Compound gate, he completely changed. He went from being very humble to thinking every issue fixed by him was a touch from God, himself. He has a lot of knowledge, just doesn't know how to apply it to groups of people.

I talked to him a few times.

As smart as he is it was quite entertaining watching him gobble up everything RG said.

I looked back through the thread trying to find posts about how this wouldn’t need anything, other brands are junk, blah blah blah.

Sadly, I just found deleted posts where I remember being called an idiot for questioning silly things like timelines.

But hey, “finalizing production” in 2021. Pay for your accessories now because your car is being built. Here we sit, 2025 and maybe they can say the obvious bugs are worked out.
