How much free play do you have on the clutch arm? It does not need much Are you sure no air in the system?

What horse power are you running How heavy? Spinning tires in 3rd that sounds like a lot of extra power Probably clutch

There are some ways around it ,but getting harder and harder there is a chance it has a spotlight on it already Is there a Carb barcode on the car? AZ might be the best option.
