    Paddle Tire Choice - Stock Honda 3.5 - Small 2 Seat - 2D

@MADMANX are they still charging about $150 per tire? I’ve heard some rumors about some different tire options but haven’t seen any. Do you have any pics to reference what you’re talking about?

    Paddle Tire Choice - Stock Honda 3.5 - Small 2 Seat - 2D

That is more dependent on the car. The ultimate theory behind the buffed MT is that when you buff the sides and leave the center, it cones the tire. this naturally makes it more of a steer tire but in the least aggressive way. Most guys that have run them (Myself being one) will note that it...

    Paddle Tire Choice - Stock Honda 3.5 - Small 2 Seat - 2D

Here’s a couple I’ve done for Sandcars. 10.75-15 razor blasters are normally 36 lbs. depending on what steering ribs get left and how much gets removed I’ve seen them drop down to 24lbs-28lbs. For reference, the pic shown with 2 center ribs left is right around 25-26 lbs. since this thread...

Ebb and Flow of the Glamis Crowds

I agree with the statements that its not busier then it has been. One thing that is consistent though is change - and that would be the destination spots. some are new, some come and go and some others stay the same and will never change. but one thing is for sure, the "feeling" of destination...

    STU 33 Blaster #1 Cut w/ 091

Kind of late to the party here but, for what its worth, dont be scared of trying the Blackbird series. I ran a 2 seat Colorado sand car with a NA J32 honda with a set of 32 Blackbirds. First tried a set of #2 paddles and that was perfect on the flats but on the steep dunes it just couldnt pull...

    Dune Videos

Heres a Few more I have put up recently. This is a buddys car that has been an ongoing project. This video is right after @John@Outfront worked his magic on getting the motor pushing the power it was meant to make. 2.5 Subi backed by an S4 in this Ricochet Sandcar. This Funco is actually...

Alumicraft.. what’s the story and the kinds?

Here’s an onboard dune run with the Barbieri’s from Gecko set to Road runner set. Super rutted and rough. And all the HP was used to keep up with them. Those big cars sure get through the rough stuff with ease.

Alumicraft.. what’s the story and the kinds?

Lights work great! Baja sports in the very center and are spots for far out, front corners are Baja XL Floods and at the A-pillar are cheap LEDs pointed 45° out for corners. For only having a few it does good enough to lead, lol.

Alumicraft.. what’s the story and the kinds?

Just wrapped up a trip for New Years. The sand was absolute carnage some sections in the busy areas had ruts so deep I was almost rubbing my skid pan. Switched the fronts out for some 8.50-15 razor backs from STU. They are the perfect tire for these little cars. So light, and narrow. I can...

Alumicraft.. what’s the story and the kinds?

I have! 3 trips now in the car! Having been in a good handful of cars of the same era, I can comfortably say that I understand why so many people have a great love for the early Alumicrafts. For a 4 seat, single shock sandcar, this car absolutely gets down! It is a blast to drive and definitely...
