Talk to me bitches...

I've got several crawlers. Don't know anything about Traxxas crawlers. Never even seen that.
Don't "upgrade" til something breaks.
Assuming this is for cralwing and not speeding around, dropping the pinion size to give more torque and slow speed control would be the first item I would do.

Get the brass suspension links and diff covers. Also the weighted wheels. It makes the truck way better when crawling. I have the same crawler. My niece's husband is into this stuff and told me what stuff to get. I piled some rocks and other stuff in a corner of my yard so I have a little crawler area.

This is where I got most of the parts:

My kid races r/c 1/8th scale electric and nitro and that is more in my wheelhouse of knowledge. Spend way too much money and lots of travel.

stumbled upon this when I got mine. tons of places people marked on a map with cool areas to mess around

kinda funny once you know about it - bunch of adult nerds standing around rocks with their RC cars

Super fun. Kids and I have some, and made a trail through the creek on my property. Every year when the floods come, the trail changes and we rebuild it. Good times.

Have some fun but go 1/10 if you get another.

Agreed the larger the better

If I lived in a more rural setting, I might have. I already have an old school JRX-T, so I'm familiar with the larger-faster trucks.

Beings im stuck in the city, and all my pals have these same size trucks, that's Why I got what they got.

We are all limited to our back yards.

I just realized late last night, this truck has oil filled shocks from the factory. Just went and picked up new oil and springs.

I also have a ton more crap showing up from Amazon tomorrow! 🤣

Crawler bbq this weekend. I'll probably be making my smash burgers. 😎

If you like crawling, you WILL find areas. You'll start slowing down on roads to eyeball rock formations.
